This section includes information about cancellations, refunds, and other important details that will help you plan your trip with confidence. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or a first-timer, our terms and conditions will provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions and have a worry-free trip.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING YOUR TRIP WITH SEA OUR EGYPT
The following terms and conditions apply to any trip booked with SEA OUR EGYPT (SOE). By booking a trip with SEA OUR EGYPT, you (hereinafter referred to as « you », « your » or « traveler ») acknowledge that you (i) are 18 years of age or older, (ii) understand and accept these terms and conditions (the « Terms and Conditions »), and (iii) are entering into a contractual relationship with SEA OUR EGYPT.
SEA OUR EGYPT ROLE
Sea Our Egypt arranges the experiences on behalf of the client with partnered local guides and tour operators. We do not own, operate, manage or control independent service providers and will not be responsible for their acts or omissions. Sea Our Egypt’s role is to only arrange services between the client and stated local tour operators, hotels, and restaurants and excursions. We are not responsible for any of the scheduled tours. Nor do we have any authority to make any warranty or changes to tours unless stated otherwise. Sea Our Egypt only acts as a travel planner and support through our host-led experiences.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Payment may be made by wire transfer or debit/credit cards from Visa or MasterCard. Depending on the timing of booking, we offer monthly payment plans up to 5 months including the $1000 non-refundable deposit. 50% of the total amount of the tour at 120 days prior to the departure of the tour or 100% of the total amount of the tour in the booking confirmation if less than 60 days prior to the departure of the tour. If full payment is not received, SEA OUR EGYPT will cancel the booking and retain the amount received.
Accommodations:
All rooms requested are 2 single beds or kind/queen sized bed with best views. Please note that these requests are subject to availability.
Any additional costs such as consuming from the minibar, laundry or other services are the responsibility of the consumer and are payable directly to the hotel. Room upgrade, location, connecting rooms are not guaranteed and depend on availability at the time of check-in or written request at least 45 days prior to beginning of the trip.
Changes:
For compelling reasons, Sea Our Egypt may change the order of the tours/excursions, the time of departure of arrival to locations or replace any of the accomodations with others of a similar luxury category.
Amendment and Cancellations:
All payments are final and non-refundable. That is because vendors often require payments months in advance and often do not provide us with refunds.
Cancellations up to 60 days prior to the beginning of the tour: Non-refundable deposit ($1000) + (equivalent of 50% of the total amount for the trip).
Guest name changes are accepted in place of trip transfers for a 100$ fee. You may request a credit towards a future tour if you can’t make the travel for no fee if received by writing 60 days prior to the beginning of the trip.
Cancellations less than 60 days prior to the beginning of the tour or no-show: 100% of the total booking will be charged.
No show policy: 100% of the total booking price will be charged.
In the event of a trip cancellation due to Covid-19 restrictions***, the paid amount will be transfered as a credit that may be applied to any future trips.
***Covid-19 related restrictions are considered 60 days or less before departure.
-The government in the travelers country of residence restricts all but essential travel/
-Egypt has entry restrictions that prohibits travelers from traveling from or to the country such as closed borders or quarantine requirements (solely in Egypt), quarantine upon return will not be considered.
Please note that prices may increase to reflect the new dates in the event of rising costs, we will do our best to maintain the same quotation.
Passports and Visas:
It is the responsibility of all travelers, regardless of their nationality to research the entry requirements for Egypt through the embassy or consulate. Clients should have in order their personal documentation (ID cards, military documentation, authorization for minors, passport (valid at least 6 months after the travel date), visas, birth certificates and other documents that may be required). SEA OUR EGYPT will not be held responsible for any refusal to grant visas or denying entry permission to Egypt. In these situations, Cancellation and no show policy will be applied and all costs associated to that situation will be solely of the travelers responsibility.
Travel Arrangements and Release from Liability:
Sea our Egypt acts as a travel host for independent contractors including transportation companies, tour operators, hotels, excursions, service companie. SOE is not responsible or liable for any acts, omissions, delays or changes by any of these entities. SOE shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, injury, damage to property, related to any accommodation or transportation or other services resulting from any extraordinary circumstances including but not limited to acts of God, dangers at the sea, acts of government, civil disturbances, force majeure, strikes, disappointment, custom regulations, delays or cancellations or changes in itinerary, schedules from any reasons beyond the control of SOE. By booking with SOE as a traveler, you hereby accept and assume full responsibility for any and all risks of illness, death or injury. You agree to release and hold us harmless against any and all liability from suits, demands of any kind and from claims of third party negligence.
Group Synergy:
SOE reserves the right to dismiss any traveler deemed disruptive (intoxicated/under the influence of drugs leading to a negative experience) to the synergy of the group. Expenses related to alternate travel plans or cost to return home are of the travelers responsibility. Unused services are non-refundable
Travel Insurance:
It is highly recommended to take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover your trip (before/during/after). Sea our Egypt will not be held responsible for any costs incurred by you as a consequence of inappropriate or insufficient travel insurance procured. We understand life may force you to make changes, protect your investment and travel with peace of mind by protecting your trip against any unforeseeable circumstances.
